We encourage check ups and inoculation programmes and we are working with the Mumbeji clinic to improve facilities and to establish good practices.We are working to provide basic health equipment such as blood pressure machines and diabetes testing kits and other diagnostic tools to enable the staff to carry out health checks and consequently, preventative work.
Our initiative is significantly improving maternal and infant health through ‘Bounty bags’ given to new mothers after their baby is born in the community.
We have made contact with the local Director of Health and we are hoping to forge stronger links with both the department and the clinics. There is so much to do and any financial help is greatly appreciated.
